Logical Circuit

Postby Alast » Sat Aug 27, 2016 10:50 am

With our new logical operators I have created a circuit of 2 loops meeting in the center. The left loop turns red if the center Stemocyte is red and green if the center Stemocyte is green. The right loop does the exact opposit turning red on green and green on red.

Interestingly for some reason the right loop transfers it's information quicker than the left one. I'm not sure why. Probably it's a slight difference in the organism placement that makes one or 2 Stereocytes pick up the signal quicker on the one side than on the other:

I've created another circuit with a NAND operator in the center. This time both loops are perfectly in sync and it shows why the first circuit wasn't. The EQUAL operators take longer to turn Green than to turn Red. Thast is because the organism only checks on Green to turn Green. And if it doesn't sense Green from the right direction it turns Red.

In the above circuit I have one NOT operator that behaves opposite to EQUAL. I'm sure that creates the asynchronity. What I would need to do is create new EQUAL and NOT operators with 2 Stereocytes to equally check on Green and Red.

Here's the NAND Circuit:

I can't seem to make both color switches equally fast except for in the slower way. Making the faster switch like the slower one works but I was hoping for a faster signal transfer rate.

LOL Yeah! I'm a redstone expert too!

The possibilities are endless :-) Am currently thinking about distant signal transmission.

Sort of. Using colored Flagellocytes ;)

The aim would have to be very precise though.

Why don't you just use secrocytes?
F-P-S

F=Flagellocyte
P=Photocyte
S=Secrocyte

The swimmer still has to get to the target Stereocytes ;)
